Bookshop Santa Cruz is a proud supporter of local & independently published authors and we’re celebrating the first of a series of events dedicated to such writers. Our consignment program allows us to accept hundreds of professionally-produced, self-published books from our community and to devote our resources to prominently featuring them throughout the store. We help authors distribute and promote their books, and—in at least one case we know—we’ve been the inspiration to stop waiting and start publishing. Now we’re creating a chance where these authors can further feature their works with our first Local & Independently Published Authors Night.
